Butterfly from Northern is a small wall lamp that was designed in 1964 for Arnold Wiigs Fabrikker and later produced by Høvik Lys. In 2008, Northern relaunched this Norwegian design classic. The lamp's special character lies in the interaction between the simple shape and the well-balanced, indirect lighting, which creates a bright but warm atmosphere. The expression is simple, yet at the same time elegant and decorative – both alone and even more so when several are combined in vertical or horizontal arrangements.
