Model 2065 Pendant with white shade was designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1950.
Gino Sarfatti experimented at the time with the material methacrylate, which is both stronger and lighter than glass, which led him to the design of model 2065. The latest version of the lamp takes sustainable materials into account, as the two saucer-shaped shades are made of Green Cast®, a 100% recycled and recyclable PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) - patented and manufactured in Italy - which has exactly the same aesthetic and functional quality as methacrylate.
The elegant lamp weighs almost nothing and provides a lovely soft light with a beautiful spread in the room, making it ideal for hanging over the dining table.
