NINOTCHKA from Danish LYFA is an original and easily recognizable design icon, designed by Bent Karlby in 1954. Bent Karlby designed this lamp after finding inspiration from an eye-catching hat worn by the Swedish Hollywood star Greta Garbo in her 1939 film Ninotchka. The organic shape with asymmetrical drapes ensures a functional and direct downward light as well as a soft and discreet upward light.
