Cross Chair Tube shares the same light visual language and assembly method with its predecessor, Cross Chair, but is materially distinct. Where Cross Chair has a frame of solid oak, Cross Chair Tube has a frame made of recyclable high-pressure steel with a robust black powder coating that adds a graphic and elegant expression.
Cross Chair Tube has a thoughtful balance of elements that create an intricate yet stable experience. Its form allows for it to be stacked as well as customized to fit any individual style. The chair introduces a material contrast to the oak in the backrest and seat, creating a slimmer and lighter silhouette without sacrificing strength. Furthermore, the use of a metal frame makes it possible to stack multiple chairs easily for storage.
