Despite its small dimensions, the Tenon Lounge Chair from New Works has an expressive character - hard and soft, strong and graceful - as it cultivates contrasts between hardwood and upholstered surfaces. A clean construction in solid oak, assembled in a so-called ’mortise and tenon joint’, creates a sculptural frame for the seat. The frame's straight lines and robustness embrace a softer counterpoint of jumping curves, like a shield protecting a soft core.
