Cork is a fantastic material – naturally warm, flexible, strong, water-resistant and renewable. Designer Lars Beller Fjetland was inspired after finding soft, smooth pieces of driftwood cork on a beach in Norway, and he used it as an alternative to upholstery in Hem's series of Drifted stools.

The warm and tactile cork seat is combined with a sturdy oak frame to ensure strength and durability.
