Acrobat is an elongated table lamp with a playful, friendly, and futuristic expression. French designer Marc Venot has created an innovative lamp that can be placed both vertically and horizontally in a multitude of positions. The lamp's transparent front has a matte finish that allows Acrobat to spread a soft, diffused light, making it ideal for creating a calm and atmospheric ambiance in the room. Lampen consists of two parts; a cone-shaped base and an elongated LED light source, held together solely by magnets. This allows Acrobat to take on almost magical positions that surprise the viewer and challenge the traditional perception of an adjustable lamp. Acrobat has a minimalistic expression and its intelligent design means it can be used for both direct and indirect lighting. Depending on how the lamp is placed on the base, Acrobat is suitable as both a desk lamp and cozy lighting.
