The chair that lasts for generations
Jørgen Bækmark was commissioned at the time to design a chair series for the more mature segment of FDB Møbler customers. Furthermore, the chair series was to be based on the production methods that the chair factory in Tarm was so skilled at. On this basis, the J80 was created.
For generations, the chair with its turned spindles and woven seat has been the safe choice for the dining room, where both design and comfort should come together in perfect harmony.
Materials and production
The chair is in black lacquered beech and natural weave. The wood used is FSC-certified and comes from European forests.
The chair has been carefully adapted and adjusted to modern sizes and seating comfort - naturally in collaboration with Jørgen Bækmark himself.
