The chair that lives for generations
At the time, Jørgen Bækmark was tasked with designing a chair series for the more mature segment of FDB customers. Additionally, the chair series was to be based on the production methods that the chair factory in Tarm was so skilled at. On this basis, the J80 was created.
For generations, the chair with the turned spindles and the woven seat has been the safe choice for the dining room, where both design and comfort ideally come together in perfect harmony.
Materials and production
The chair is in matt lacquered oak and paper cord. The wood used is FSC-certified and comes from European forests.
The chair has been carefully adapted and adjusted to contemporary sizes and seating comfort – naturally in collaboration with Jørgen Bækmark himself.
