The 8000 series is a design icon, designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen and produced by Magnus Olesen since 1981. The stool is based on a unique production technology with a patented joint without the use of screws and dowels, which makes the furniture incredibly strong and very flexible despite its low weight. Many recognize the stool from their upbringing in schools and institutions.
