GUBI's Matégot Flower Pot was designed in 1953 during Mathieu Matégot's heyday and is a testament to his success in transforming perforated metal sheet into a refined, elegant material where design, art, and technique are perfectly combined. This characteristic fabric-like metal sheet, which Matégot called Rigitulle, is crumpled and provides an airy grace that contributes to its true sculptural expression.
