The 8000 series is a design icon, produced by Magnus Olesen since 1981. The chair is based on a unique production technology with a patented joint without the use of screws and dowels, which makes the furniture incredibly strong and very flexible despite its low weight. The chair has been part of many Danes' upbringing in school and institutional settings and is known as part of the interior of 'Cafe Victor' when it opened in Copenhagen. The chair remains a Magnus Olesen classic.
