Model 2065 Wall from the brand Astep. Gino Sarfatti's Model 2065 is known for its timeless lightness and elegance, which can be attributed to the plastic polymer methacrylate. Sarfatti discovered this material between 1949 and 1950 and identified that it could create a hanging lamp that was lighter and more resistant than glass. The design made it possible to mount the cables inside the tubes, which meant there was no need for architectural or electrical interventions - making it both easy to attach to the wall and nomadic by nature. This "break in form" for its category has led to the Model 2065 Wall being recognized as a masterpiece within design.
