About the chair
The J18 was designed by Børge Mogensen in 1945 and, like other of Mogensen's famous chairs, is crafted in a Nordic and clean design, produced with a focus on function and simplicity. The chair, inspired by the old English Windsor chairs of the 18th century, is comfortable to sit in. The solid backrest flows into the armrests, which can be pushed under most tabletops. The seat tilts comfortably back into the bowl-shaped recess.
Condition:
2nd quality: The surface texture may be slightly rough in some places. This cosmetic detail does not affect the chair's functionality, and the chair maintains its robustness and comfort, as can be expected from a product from FDB Møbler.
Materials:
Oiled solid oak. The wood used is FSC-certified and originates from European forests. The chair is Swan-labeled.
