KEEPR for Businesses
How Birdie's flagship store found its look
When Andreas Kofoed Sørensen and Hans Høite Augustenborg founded Birdie in 2022, they set out to solve an invisible problem with a visible solution. Birdie is an indoor air quality monitor disguised as a bird, one that gently faints when the air deteriorates, and only revives once the room has been ventilated. A quietly ingenious concept that turns awareness into action.
That same thinking shaped how they approached their new flagship store in the heart of Copenhagen. Rather than starting from scratch, Birdie chose a circular path, and that's where KEEPR came in. Through our collaboration, they found a curated selection of furniture from Danish brand TAKT and lighting from Wever & Ducré: pieces chosen for their quality, their character, and the story they tell alongside the product they surround.
The result is a space that feels considered from every angle, because it was.
It is an important step in the right direction when companies begin to adopt a circular approach to furniture and interior design. By choosing existing quality furniture instead of buying new, the need for new production and resource consumption are significantly reduced. The more companies that take part in this transition, the greater the impact we can create together - both for the climate, for the industry, and for the way we think about design and responsibility.
