When Lasse Skjønning Andersen opened the world's first porridge bar on Jægersborggade in 2011, he was 21 years old with a clear ambition: to turn porridge into something people would seek out, sit down for, and savour. More than a decade later, GRØD has grown to over 10 locations, and with that growth came a natural moment to revisit the spaces where it all began.

That's where KEEPR came in. We started by listening to how the space is used, what the team needed day to day, and what GRØD wanted guests to feel the moment they walked in. From there, we curated a selection of pieces that could carry both the practical and the atmospheric: durable enough for a busy café, characterful enough to feel like GRØD. Because a space should be as considered as what it serves and just as uniquely its own.

For GRØD, we sourced pieces that could hold their own in a busy café without losing any of their character. The bar stools from FRAMA were a natural fit, their honest materials and unhurried design language sit comfortably alongside GRØD's own ethos of simplicity done well. These are pieces that don't shout, but they stay, in the room, and in the memory of the people who sit in them.
