Calm, spaciousness, and excellent acoustics: Enhancing common areas at GF Forsikring
How can you create an office environment that promotes calm, fosters a sense of community, and enhances employee well-being?
That was the question we brought to our collaboration with GF Forsikring, when they asked us to rethink the common areas of their office in Vallensbæk. From the outset, the ambition was simple but considered: spaces that work as well for a spontaneous conversation as they do for a quiet moment alone.
We curated the interior around natural materials, soft tones, and pieces built to last, lounge sofas and meeting chairs from Warm Nordic, lighting from Astep and LYFA, and tables from FDB Møbler, Fredericia Furniture, and Eberhart Furniture. Each piece was chosen not just for how it looks, but for what it contributes to the room, acoustically, atmospherically, and over time.
The result is a set of spaces where employees feel at home, and where good design does its job quietly.
Acoustics as a key focus
We have incorporated sound-absorbing art from AKUART, which has been carefully selected and positioned to both improve the acoustic environment and enhance the rooms’ aesthetics. The result is an inviting office environment where it is easy to find peace and feel at ease. A place where community and alone time are given space to thrive, and where the surroundings support the culture GF Forsikring wishes to create for its employees.
